Brandient — the leading branding and design company in Romania, one of the most awarded in Eastern Europe and the one I’ve had the pleasure to be part of for the last 3 years — celebrates a wonderful milestone: over 100 brands and identities, developed over the last eight years. To honour this event, an exhibition will be held at Carturesti Verona in Bucharest (sub_Carturesti coffee shop). The opening event will take place on 26 march, at 5.00 PM, when Brandient’s designers will share their experiences during the “Brandient 101 minutes about design” talk. The exhibition will be open from 26 march till 7 april. We’re preparing another surprise, so stay tuned.

Thanks, it really is very important, and not only because it’s a major event for us at Brandient, it’s also the first of this kind in Romania. The poster’s idea belongs to Bogdan Dumitrache.

Wow, I’m smitten – what fonts are those in the poster, especially the header area? Looks like some type of Clarendon and some type of Didot? And what is the 101? This is lovely…
Both the header and the 101 logo is set in Filosofia (the title is set in Filosofia Grande, Brandient in SC). We use it as our company’s typeface, it has a lot of style and personality, but it’s rarely easy to work with. Body is usually in Officina, but we used Lucida for the web version.
I’m glad you like the poster. The exhibition is awesomer, though :)
